Favorite CDE: Agriculture Issues. Some of my favorite memories in FFA are of the Ag Issues team huddled together High Key freaking out waiting for our turn to present at nationals. It was in these stressful moments that I made memories and friendships that would last a lifetime.

Favorite Ag Class: I think Honors Agribusiness and finance would be my favorite ag class. It was surprisingly difficult and different then what I was used to especially for someone like me where math is not my favorite subject. The knowledge that what I learned in that class would no doubt help me in life no matter what career field I chose was really cool.

Describe a time when you set a goal within the FFA and were not able to meet it; what did you learn? Not placing top 2 in opening closing ceremonies was a big upset at the very beginning of my time in FFA. At that stage in my life doing a competition like that was very foreign and scary for me but the team and I still worked really hard to do the best we could. After we learned that we hadn't placed in the top 2 we were really hurt and contemplated giving up this crazy FFA thing. Although that moment was tough it taught all of us that losing was apart of life and that all we could do was work harder next time.

What are you looking forward to most during your year as a Regional Officer? Meeting so many diverse individuals with the same passion for service and Agriculture that I have outside of my even my own tight knit community.
